摘要：The narrative style of these stories was significantly different from that of earlier accounts, explicitly describing the violence suffered by these loyalists. These stories spread in a viral fashion, representing a dramatic shift in the collective memory of this event. These stories originated as items in informal miscellaneous writings, but by the sixteenth century, they had come to influence various genres of historical writings, influencing our perspectives on early Ming history.
